| I am also agree with Javed. This is the time to show confidence on your young players. You already have very experiances players like Sachin, Sehwarg, Gambhir and in bowling Zaheer who are in good forms. With these seniors you will ahve to depend on youngsters. I believe suresh raina and rohit are good players. I agree rahul can be given a chance in 15 man squad so that if youngsters are not able to perform rahul can place them but indian team is already playing with 7,8 batsmen so it does t make any sense to still go with more batting options.
Problem with indian team is consistancy and especialy new players like to go after ball. They prefer to attack rather then defending and staying on wicket. This is the major problem indian team have. Currently each player want to be a match winner. Which is gud thing but this can not be the case every time. What really matter is team effor. Look at the australian team guys what they do. Each player want to spend more and ore team on crease and then one player start attacking. We asian guys want to go for more and more boundries rather then taking singles.
Indian big problem is pace bowling. You guys don t have any bowler with 90 mils per hour as australia and Pakistan do. You should work on this club level and encourage guys with more pace. Coaches can work on it. Currently for wordcup 2011 Zaheer, Parveen, Ashish one more bolwler i don t remember his name who got problem once with harbajan is best option. Being Pakistany i wish this word cup win any assian team weather its India, Pak, Srilanka. |
